Magazine Madness
So, I am moving. Which is a good thing. I am going to try it out in Calgary for a while.
I have big conundrum though. I LOVE magazines. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. I keep thinking that I will go through all of them and cut out the articles, recipes and pictures I want to keep.
Now I know that I need to get rid of a lot of these glorious books so that I have less to store, but how do I decide?
How do I figure out which magazines will not provide me with future inspiration? I see such beautiful collage work on Flickr that I also want to create.
And magazine cutouts are useful for this.
I suppose there will always be more to come...
Wanna ship them over to Sweden? hehe, just kidding. I never through away a magazine without looking through it with the scissors in one hand, tearing out articles and cutting out images. Just sit and do it and them through them away, then it will be easier to get rid of them!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with your move. I know what you mean about magazines. I have a slight obsession with them too. Every once in a while I whittle them down to a few and pass the rest on the someone who will appreciate them.
